# Update targeting bid

"Update bid" is a feature that allows you to modify the bid amount for one or more targeting records simultaneously. It consists of various [parameters](/managing-advertising-accounts/modules/bulk-manager/targeting/update-targeting/update-targeting-bid/targeting-bidding-parameters.md)—update options, boundaries, and references—providing a flexible framework for your bidding strategies.

To update targeting bids:

* [x] Select the targeting records you wish to update using the checkboxes in the data table.
* [x] Click on "Update" in the actions bar.
* [x] In the dialog, check the "Update Bid" checkbox.
* [x] Select the bid parameters for the update operation.
* [x] Click "Apply" to finalize the changes.
